In 2008 David set up The Sculpture Studio, which specializes in sculpting, mold-making, and casting. David has been sculpting for over 35 years and has his work in many private and public collections.

As well as a sculptor, David also has a long career teaching and mold making. David was involved in The Blue Whale Project, where he molded and cast the rib cage and several vertebrae of a Blue Whale, as well as assisted with the reconstruction of the whale’s skull. The skeleton is now on display at The Biodiversity Museum at the University of British Columbia.

The Sculpture Studio offers mold-making and casting services for other artists and corporate organizations and museums, as well as specialized commission pieces for public and private spaces.
